Perfect Home Remodeling

When you do something, do it perfect.  If you can't do it perfect - don't do it at all.

[Under Construction]

New Technologies and equipment:

RPTVs are getting bigger.  Optoma introduced 100" diagonal RPTV

1080p is in and prices went down to reasonable levels.

Pioneer has introduced 50" 1080p plasma display PRO-FHD1,  Panasonic - 65" 1080p plasma TH-65PX600U and also 103" 1080p plasma !!!  Price - don't ask.

LEDs will replace bulb and color wheel in DLP RPTVs shortly:

LEDs will replace fluorescent lamp in LCD TVs this year:

SED. (Surface conduction electron emitter display)

Will SED make plasma and LCD obsolete?  Will see.
This technology offers a flat screen, like plasma, but instead of plasma cells there are small CRT cells.
Last year I bet: YES, but after last crop of Panasonic 1080p plasma displays - I am not sure.  They are really good.
I think that price will be major factor.

  •  Picture quality is matching CRT.
  •  Size - like plasma - no limits.
  •  No image retention

The launch planned for this spring is delayed up to fall 2007.
